Highlights from the April 2011 CRA Board of Directors Meeting

The CRA Board of Directors meets quarterly (January, April, July and October) to discuss Association matters and addresses rental industry issues for our membership.

 

The board met in Reno, Nevada. Thanks to all the board members for a productive and informative meeting. Our board members are 100% volunteers and without them the CRA would not be possible.

 

The Board would like to extend a sincere thanks to both Steve Sawin and Laird Burns for their contribution to the CRA. Laird and Steve both tendered their resignation prior to the April meeting. Their help will be missed. We wish them the best of luck with their future endeavors.

 

Lincoln Financial made a presentation to the Board regarding an association sponsored 401k plan. The Board will be considering the possibilities of offering this service along with our many other member only benefits. Board elections are coming up and the nominees have been selected. Look for your upcoming ballot in the mail! The CRA chapters are active and meetings are well attended. Keep an eye out for the next meeting in your area. Our next meeting will be in July in Shell Beach, California.

Several of the committees met in Reno and good progress was made on the many upcoming projects we have. Please feel free to check out what was discussed under their reports.
