Highlights from the July 2010 Loss Control & Underwriting Committee meeting

The following items were discussed at the July meeting. The CRA Loss Control & Underwriting Committee meets with members of our preferred provider Jenkins Insurance Services to review loss control issues and underwriting guidelines.

 

Pete Palawa from NOVA and Paul Lindsey, Dana Thompson and Dick Warrender from Jenkins presented to the committee.

A revision of the current underwriting guidelines is underway. Hopefully new guidelines will be available by the October 2010 CRA Board Meeting.

 

CRA is also assisting in reviewing the Risk Control Survey form used by Jenkins to inspect our facilities. The committee had several suggestions and modifications were made. We ask if you have any comments or ideas to improve the survey please contact myself of the CRA.
