2024 Rental Rally Tradeshow Recap

  We began this year’s Rental Rally with another collaboration with the Peer Executive Group led by Dan Crowley and team launching the roll out of our 2^nd Freshman Rental Boot Camp. In an effort to focus on developing key rental leaders in your organization we continued a one day interactive, informative and highly productive program to bring out the next generation rental leaders.  Reach out to someone who attended to learn about their experience, call the CRA for more information, and then be the first to sign up for next year’s Sophomore Rental Boot Camp where we bring both freshman classes together and continue the program. 

We also partnered up this year with the Peer Executive Group for our Education Day held every year.  This year’s program also surpassed prior years with seminars specifically designed for owners and managers in both the equipment and party rental industries. The caliber of our speakers and the content provided to our members was extremely valuable and impressive. 

We were excited to have Nick Friedman, College Hunks Hauling Junk as our keynote speaker ahead of the Trade Show. He shared his story of how he and his partner grew College HUNKS from a college business to over 250 franchises and $300 million in annual sales. Nick was both motivating and exciting to listen to, he left the audience feeling charged and ready to head back and implement some new thinking.

California Young Rental Professionals (CYRP) had their annual Pancakes & CYRP breakfast. This year the CYRP had a special guest speaker, Jared Medaris, Expo Event Rentals. Jared gave an outstanding presentation on "Creating a Culture of Service Excellence". It was based on his own personal experience and growing pains within his business and finding and maintaining the right company culture. Truly a captivating presentation. The CYRP day ended with Bowling that included the same group and more for what turned out to be a fantastic social event. 

Our Tuesday night event was the Rockin’ Rental Palooza held at the Ahern Hotel in Las Vegas which included Ariel Bartenders, delicious food, CYRP hosted Tacos & Beer, cigar bar and vintage car show, and an epic performance from the Killer Dueling Pianos. 

Lastly, two days of exhibits at the trade show made possible by all our supporting vendors, attendees, and everyone behind the scenes.  Truly a great show with eager attendees, superior equipment, and from what I could hear and see multiple purchase orders for equipment being sold. The message here is if you attended this year’s show you recognize the value and benefits of coming and we look forward to seeing you again next year.  If you were unable to, or chose not to attend, let me be the first to encourage you to come next year.
