Mission Statement
 

The mission of the California Rental Association is to further the rental concept by representing its members, promoting use by consumers, and augmenting the industry image.
 
Objective: To provide products and services, to its members, that will encourage success in their business endeavors.
Objective:To collect and disseminate information pertinent to CRA, its members, manufactures and suppliers.
Objective: To monitor and influence governmental policies and laws affecting members and the rental industry.

Objective: To increase the public’s awareness of the rental industry.

Objective: To provide on-going, educational opportunities for members which enhance their proficiency.
Objective: To provide forums for personal interaction among members
Objective: To maintain relationships, with other industry-related organizations, to address common issues in an effective manner.
Objective: To support high standards of professional practices throughout the rental industry.

Code of Ethics
 

As a member of the California Rental Association and a neighbor in the local business community, the proprietor and employees of this firm pledge to provide each customer:
 
Professional Service from experienced qualified personnel in selecting the best equipment suited to the job's requirements.
 
Responsibility for proper instruction in the use and care of equipment, which will be provided at the time of transaction in clean, fine working condition.
 
Concern for safety, with attention to maintenance and use of equipment in a safe manner.
 
Integrity in all business dealings, fair and respectful attitudes, and devotion to business principles consistent with the law and public welfare.


About CRA

The California Rental Association (CRA), located in Sacramento, CA, is a nonprofit trade association representing the equipment and party rental industry since 1946.

CRA is governed by a Board of Directors composed of a 17 rental center members plus 5 Associate members.

Our member-led committees are charged with acting in the best interests of the association and shaping CRA’s programs and policy proposals.

The association staff is directed in these efforts by the Executive Director.
