The California Rental Association has been promoting the equipment and party rental rental industry since it began in 1946. The association has actively promoted high standards and ethical practices, encouraged harmony and cooperation among its members, and educated the public about the benefits of rental. Our industry has grown into a multimillion dollar business with a tremendous impact on California’s economy — and CRA has been there from the beginning, working to increase public awareness and to provide ongoing services for its members and the public at large.

California Air Resources Board reports the following Tier 1 and Tier 2 engine categories registered in the Statewide Portable Equipment Registration Program (PERP) and owned by large fleets are subject to multiple upcoming deadlines and phase-out dates. Large fleets have a total cumulative horsepower over 750 bhp for all portable engines under common ownership and control of the fleet. more....
