The California Rental Association has been promoting the equipment and party rental rental industry since it began in 1946. The association has actively promoted high standards and ethical practices, encouraged harmony and cooperation among its members, and educated the public about the benefits of rental. Our industry has grown into a multimillion dollar business with a tremendous impact on California’s economy — and CRA has been there from the beginning, working to increase public awareness and to provide ongoing services for its members and the public at large.
Changes to September Fourth Wednesday Rental Workshop! Due to a scheduling conflict the "Cleaning" workshop to be presented by Chuck Shipp with Shipp Cleaning System has been postponed. In it's place will be "Risk Assessment... Be Proactive Not Reactive" presented by Robert Chagoya with Paragon Insurance.
Jeff Roberts, CRA Executive Director, announced the results of the recent board elections. Officers elected to a one-year term are: Ryan Leis, president; Kathryn de Vries, vice president; Matt Wiest, treasurer; and David Dworschak, secretary. Directors elected to serve a three-year term, beginning July 2023, are Rob Dickey, Ryan Leis, David Dworschak, Andrew de Vries and Colin Grill. Elected to serve as an associate director for a three-year term: Allen Buck. Appointed to serve as an associate director for a one-year term are: Ed Galindo, and, Don Schulz. CONGRATULATIONS to all of our newly elected/appointed officers. Their dedication and hard work are most appreciated!
